STAFF — Nurses
Becky: Becky grew up in Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She, her husband and two children have lived in Austin since 1989. Both of her children are recent college graduates. Having worked in various pediatric positions in her career, (including newborn nursery, staff nurse for hematology/oncology inpatient unit at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, school nurse, private practice) Becky brings more than 35 years of pediatric nursing experience to Hill Country Pediatrics. She joined our office in 1998. Her hobbies include trail running, gardening, cooking, and knitting.
Cathy: Cathy was born in Canada but has lived in the US since 1963. She graduated from California State University-San Jose with a BSN in 1973. Prior to coming to Austin, she worked in pediatric intensive care. She and husband and two sons moved here 1998. She joined our office in August 2003 after working at the Children’s Hospital of Austin and in neonatal intensive care at North Austin Medical Center. Cathy loves working with children, reading, walking and lately learning how to grow plants in pots in the Texas heat.

Ashley: Ashley grew up in Fort Worth and moved to the Austin area in 2000. She is married with a son and a daughter. Ashley has worked in Medical Office Administration for eight years in Dermatology and Urgent Care specialties. She enjoys listening to live music, movies, and playing with her children.
Jennifer: Jennifer was born in Chicago, Ill. and grew up in the Twin Cities. She relocated to Austin to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Texas State University-San Marcos. Upon graduation in Spring 2009, she plans on attending UT Austin to complete a PhD. in Neuropsychology with a specialization in the treatment of learning disorders. This is Jennfier's first job at a pediatric practice and she enjoys the laid back, friendly atmosphere. In her spare time, Jennfier enjoys cooking Italian food, reading, and hiking at Emma Long Park.
Stella: Stella grew up in Austin and graduated with honors from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Healthcare Administration. She is currently studying for the LSAT and the GRE and hopes to attend graduate school sometime in the near future! Stella has worked in healthcare for almost ten years and joined Hill Country Pediatrics after managing a plastic surgery practice for five years. Stella enjoys running, traveling, and shopping.
